Rewinda MovieToons was established in 2004 with a focus on bringing a new lead to 2D animated movie making.
Our first production, “Alibaba and Forty Thieves” – a 43-minute episode – has been completed.
After completing it, we took up our most prestigious project: portraying the magnificence and depth of Tamil literature written by the great Kalki. Ponniyin Selvan is part literature and part fiction, and in the story he portrays the life and times of the great Chola dynasty.
When we decided to produce Kalki's Ponniyin Selvan we were sure of its success: it is a hugely popular story with an enormous fan following, and we bring the acumen to create it exactly as per the storyline.

A commerce graduate with two postgraduate degrees in Business Administration, he has served many multinational companies in marketing and project execution divisions in various capacities, and is technically proficient with computer systems.
He trained in cell animation under Mr. Madhav Rao of Delhi (famous as Andipandaram in Thina Thanthi), a genius in 2D cell animation, and worked with him as an assistant animator for nearly three years. He also worked with Blossom MovieToons (Chennai) as chief production consultant.
